They Didn't Strike Out Afterall

The Bulls have struck gold after all. Wasting no time following the announcement by Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh that they will team up in Miami, The Bulls and Carlos Boozer have agreed on a multi year contract. The deal is said to be for 5 years at 80 million dollars which coincidentally leaves them just enough to sign Lebron James to a max deal should he want to come to Chicago.

Don't think for a second that the timing of this deal wasn't done quickly to make sure that James now has all the facts before making his decision. He can clearly see that the Bulls have greatly improved their roster by adding a bruising power forward to do a lot of the dirty work underneath the boards along with Joakim Noah.

So to all the naysayers who have taken pot shot after pot shot against John Paxson you might want to reconsider your stance. He and the rest of the Bulls management has had numerous plans in place to improve their roster and with the signing of Boozer it already is. And it will be a grand slam if Boozer's signing makes up James mind to come to Chicago and be a Bull.....stay tuned.
