Breaking injury news from Zach Zaidman: three players will miss next game
We have learned some details on the various injuries the Bears suffered during this past weekend's preseason loss to the Chargers. The Score's Zach Zaidman reports:
Backup quarterback Caleb Hanie has suffered a sprained shoulder, and is out for next week; safety Craig Steltz has suffered an ankle sprain; safety Major Wright will have surgery this week on his injured left index finger. None of these players is expected to miss a game in the regular season, at least not at this point.
All three of those players are out against Oakland this week; the Score's Zach Zaidman reports that the Bears will most likely add another quarterback to the roster before the Oakland game.
