The Chicago Bears announced that they’ve sign linebacker Rod Wilson to a one-year contract. Wilson was originally drafted by the Bears in 2005 and played in 28 games during the 2006 and 2007 seasons.
After being waived by the Bears in 2008, Wilson was picked up by the Buccaneers and appeared in eight games for them during the 2009 season.
Wilson became available again once he was released by the Jaguars following the preseason.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed and Wilson is expected to compete for playing time on special teams.
