Grains Futures Drop, Livestock Prices Mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures mostly slid Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery dropped 8 cents to $6.66 a bushel; December corn fell 14.75 cents to $4.81 a bushel; December oats edged up 0.5 cent to $3.425 a bushel; while soybeans for November delivery tumbled 11.25 cents to $10.955 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle added 0.05 cent to 99.65 cents a pound; November feeder cattle gained 0.73 cent to $1.1275 a pound; December lean hogs slid 0.87 cent to 74 cents a pound; and February pork bellies were flat at $1.0850 a pound.
