Water Main Breaks At O'Hare Terminal

CHICAGO (CBS) - A water main break has caused some minor problems in the International Terminal at O'Hare Airport.

The water main break happened on a taxiway at near International Terminal 5 shortly before 9:30 a.m., according to the Chicago Department of Aviation.

The break did not affect flights, but it caused a loss of water pressure in restrooms and food concession stands in the airport.

Concession stands and restrooms remain open in the terminal, according to Aviation Department spokeswoman Karen Pride. Passengers can use the restrooms as usual.

Crews were working to repair the water main as of early Friday afternoon, the department said.
