Hossa Off To Dominant Start

Marian Hossa is off to a dominant start to the 2010-11 season. He leads the NHL in goals (7) and points (11) and shows no signs of slowing down, despite going pointless for the first time in 2010.

"Sometimes the puck doesn't go in the way you like, but we won and that's the most important thing," Hossa said while on the Danny Mac Show, referring to the team's 2-1 shootout win over the rival Vancouver Canucks.

The Blackhawks have won four games in a row to bring their early season record to 5-2-1. And it's Hossa and the rest of his line who have been consistently good trough the early season struggles and recent hot streak.

"We definitely feel pretty good about the line, everybody is working pretty hard and it seems like we've got speed, we have chances and we're creating well on the ice," Hossa said. "And that's what you need to do to be successful."

Their success could keep the line of Hossa, Jonathon Toews and Tomas Kopecky together and could keep the Blackhawks rolling for the rest of the season.

We've seen in the past that head coach Joel Queenville likes to mix up his lines to find combinations that work, and it looks like the Toews, Hossa and Kopecky line needs no more tinkering.
