CHICAGO (STMW) - A man who was shot in the face on the Near North Side Monday night took himself to the hospital, where he was in “stable” condition, police said.
The shooting happened about 6:35 p.m. on the 1200 block of North Hudson Avenue, according to a report from police News Affairs.
The 34-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to the side of his face, police said. He was able to take himself to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in “stable” condition, the report said.
No one was in custody and police did not immediately have any additional information on the shooting.
Belmont Area detectives are investigating.
