Police Investigate Kitten Shooting

EVANSTON, Ill. (WBBM) - Evanston police are investigating the shooting of a nine-month-old kitten with a pellet gun.

The incident was reported in the 1700 block of Brown Avenue, in the northwest part of the suburb near Dodge Avenue and Church Street.

Police say the kitten was hit in the shoulder and they advised its owner to take it to a veterinarian. The kitten's current condition is not known.
