Buffone: 'Would The Bears Start Hanie?'

NFL teams use their bye week to focus on weaknesses and try to turn them into strengths. So coming out of a bye week, one would assume to see a better on-field product. Based on what he say during the bye week practices, The Score's Doug Buffone thinks that the Bears' on-field product could look dramatically different. For example, he wonders if the fans will see a different starting quarter back.

"[The Bears] started practicing [over the bye week] and [Jay] Cutler [wasn't] the starting quarter back. They put in the other guys. They said, 'well we're trying to rest him,' but you're going to rest all week," Buffone said.

"Would the Bears be bold enough to start Hanie against Buffalo," Buffone wondered.  "When you take a look at this, this thing is a mess. Everybody's talking about how close Martz is with Cutler. I'm not so sure about that," Buffone said. "I'm not so sure they're that close."
