Cutler Was Never Asked About Moss
(WSCR) - Jay Cutler said the Chicago Bears didn't come to him for his opinion in going after Randy Moss. He stated that Mike Martz's system is too difficult for someone new to grasp this late into the season. Had the Bears put in a claim, due to their record, they would have won the waiver claim.

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) If the Chicago Bears were thinking about going after Randy Moss, they apparently didn't seek their quarterback's opinion.
Jay Cutler says no one in the front office asked him what he thought. He also says a newcomer would have a difficult time grasping Mike Martz's system this late in the season, even a "talented guy" like Moss.
The Vikings' decision to place Moss on waivers this week has stirred a debate in Chicago over whether the Bears should go after the controversial receiver. Although the Bears (4-3) lack a bona fide go-to threat, their problems stretch beyond their pass catchers.
There are a number of reasons they have lost three of four heading into this week's game against winless Buffalo in Toronto, yet the receivers remain a popular target.
