CHICAGO (CBS) - Police are searching for a gunman who opened fire in the Far South Side’s Roseland neighborhood Tuesday night, leaving one man in the hospital.

Police said the victim was sitting in his car around 10:30 p.m. in the 200 block of East 103rd Street, when the gunman pulled up in a red vehicle and started shooting.

The victim, a 27-year-old man, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in an unidentified condition, according to a News Affairs release.

The gunman fled in the car. No one was in custody Wednesday morning.
