Missing City Worker Found At Near West Side Hospital

CHICAGO (STMW) – A city truck driver reported missing last week was found safely Wednesday at a Near West Side hospital, police said.

Humberto “Beto” Gutierrez, 55, went missing from the 2500 block of South Spaulding Avenue on Oct. 29, a missing persons alert from Harrison Area detectives said. Gutierrez also goes by the alias DNA.

Gutierrez is a truck driver for the city’s Department of Streets & Sanitation and was reported missing after he didn’t show up for work.

On Wednesday, police said Gutierrez had been found safety at Rush University Medical Center, 1653 W. Congress Parkway.
