Report: Bears to stay in Bourbonnais

(WSCR) The Chicago Bears are close to a two-year extension with Olivet Nazarene University to keep the team's training camp in Bourbonnais through 2013, according the Chicago Tribune.

The report states that a mutual option for 2014 could also be included in the deal.

The Bears current contract with ONU expires after the 2011 season and the team has been in contact with Lewis University in Romeoville about a possible relocation. Lewis remains a possible destination in the future, but upgrades to the facilities are needed, according to the Tribune.

The Bears have held training camp in Bourbonnais since 2002.
