Missing Man's Body Pulled From Lake
CHICAGO (CBS) - A body pulled from Lake Michigan near Belmont Harbor turned out to be that of a man who was reported missing earlier this week.
The body was pulled from the lake around 2 p.m. Thursday, according to a Town Hall District police captain. The death was an apparent suicide, according to the captain.
The man was identified as Norman Pridgen, 30, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. He was reported missing Nov. 16, the police captain said.
It was not immediately known where Pridgen lived, according to the medical examiner's office.
An autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death will be held later Friday.
