Bobby Butler was shot near the station Monday night after he yelled at a robber who took a woman's purse at gunpoint.

Guardian Angels Chicago Chapter Leader Michael Fuentes says they'll be back on Thanksgiving and Friday, adding it's the least they can do since Butler won't ever be able to celebrate the holiday with his family again.

Fuentes has mixed feelings about helping strangers - the very thing that got Butler killed - saying he worries about his colleagues and his own safety but feels it's necessary to help others feel secure.

Butler had a number of arrests and convictions on his record but was turning his life around, say family and friends.
