CHICAGO (CBS) – There is a chance of rain, snow and sleet for the Chicago area this Thanksgiving.
Temperatures in the Chicago area will fall to around 30 degrees by 5 p.m., the National Weather Service said. There is a 30 percent chance of rain, snow and sleet. Wind gusts could reach as high as 20 mph.
By Thursday night, it will become cloudy with a low around 23 degrees. Wind gusts could reach 30 mph, the weather service said.
Friday’s temperatures will reach 32 degrees with a chilly nighttime low of 23 degrees.
As for the rest of the holiday weekend, expect brisk temperatures but not hazardous weather, the weather service said.
