CHICAGO (CBS) – A fire that broke out in a vacant house in the West Garfield Park neighborhood early Thursday is being called suspicious.
The fire broke out on both floors of a vacant brick two-story house at 4003 W. Wilcox St., fire officials said.
The blaze spread to an occupied building.
The fire was out as of 6 a.m., but crews were still spraying water on the damaged homes, Curtis said.
Fire investigators are on the scene because the fire is believed to be suspicious, according to Fire Media Affairs spokesman Quention Curtis.
