Check Out The New City Sticker

CHICAGO (WBBM) - A 17-year old immigrant is the winner of a contest to design the 2011 city vehicle sticker.

She's a high school junior who came to the United States a year ago from Thailand and, now, the Chicago Sun-Times reports Suthida Lertpanichphan will have her artwork on every vehicle in the city of Chicago starting next summer.

Lertpanichphan beat out 400 young artists to design a city sticker that shows two students flying into the future on the pages of a book.

The contest's theme was "Education is Key".

Her guardian encouraged the St. Gregory the Great student to enter the contest because he wanted her drawing on his car.
