Quinn To Visit Wounded Veterans In Germany

CHICAGO (AP) ― Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn is headed to an overseas military base in Germany to visit wounded service members.

Quinn’s office said Sunday that the governor would make his trip to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany on Monday. It will be Quinn’s sixth trip to the medical center.

Quinn plans to hand-deliver thousands of holiday cards from Illinois schoolchildren to service members, doctors and staff.
