CHICAGO (STMW) – Two lanes of the northbound Dan Ryan Expressway are blocked after a truck hit a wall and leaked diesel fuel early Thursday on the South Side.
At 1:15 a.m., a truck hit the wall on the northbound Dan Ryan Expressway near 63rd Street, Illinois State Police District Chicago Trooper Ramon Coss said.
A fuel tank leaking diesel fuel prompted a Level 1 HazMat situation, closing down the left two lanes, Coss said.
No one is hurt and no other vehicles were involved, Coss said.
Illinois State Police are investigating.
