Shots Fired At Police, No One Injured

CHICAGO (STMW) - No one was injured early Sunday when shots were fired at Chicago Police in the South Side South Chicago neighborhood.

Police responded at 12:44 a.m. to a call of a man with a gun in the 8600 block of South Marquette Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.

Shots were fired at the police officers and the gunman fled the scene in an unknown direction, Gaines said. No one was injured.

No one is in custody and Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
