One Hurt In High-Rise Fire On South Side

CHICAGO (CBS) -- One person was hurt after a fire broke out Tuesday morning at a high-rise on Chicago's South Side.

The fire broke out at about 11 a.m. on the first floor of a 19-story building at 2901 S. King Dr., according to the Chicago Fire Department.

One person was injured and taken to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in fair to serious condition.

The fire was out by 11:30 a.m. No further details were immediately available.
