Kendall County Sheriff's Police say Robert Daniel McGee of Aurora was parked along the side of Route 126. When police pulled up behind him, he took off.

The vehicle was then swerving over the center line, reaching speeds of up to 95 mph in a 55 mph zone.

When McGee was finally pulled over, police found open containers of alcohol in the car.

McGee was charged with excessive speeding and DUI. He was one of three people in Kendall County charged under a new state law, which makes speeding over 40 mph a misdemeanor.
