Bar Fight Ends In Fatal Stabbing

HAMMOND, Ind. (STMW) – A West Lafayette man was stabbed to death during a fight Thursday morning at the Copper Penny bar in Hammond.

Victor Adams, 34, suffered stab wounds in the neck with a knife after a fight broke out at the bar before 2 a.m. Police found blood stains on the floor of the bar.

Hammond police said the man was taken to the Hammond Clinic for treatment by several people who were with him at the bar.

When they found that the clinic was closed, they called 911 and Munster police responded to the scene at 2:21 a.m.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
