Illinoisans, Others Strike Out On Mega Millions Drawing
CHICAGO (STMW) - No one matched all the numbers in Friday night's Mega Millions lottery drawing Friday night and the jackpot increased to an estimated $40 million.
The estimated grand prize in Friday night's drawing was $30 million. The winning numbers were: 2 - 15 - 17 - 33 and 35, and the Mega Ball number was 8.
Besides not matching all the numbers, no one in Illinois matched the next best combination of numbers -- the first five numbers -- for a $250,000 prize, according to the Illinois Lottery. One lucky player who bought their ticket in Illinois did match four of the first five numbers and the Mega Ball, for a $10,000 prize.
The next Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for Tuesday night, with an estimated grand prize of $40 million.
