Suburban Powerball Players Win $200K

CHICAGO (STMW) – No one won the $82 million Powerball jackpot Saturday night, but two west suburban players came pretty close, and picked up $200,000 each in the process.

The winning numbers in Saturday’s drawing were: 09 – 13 – 22 – 23 and 37. The Power Ball number was 31 and the Power Play number was 3.

No players matched all the numbers and the jackpot rolled over. But two Illinois players matched the first five numbers, and they will each receive $200,000, according to the Illinois Lottery.

Those two tickets were purchased at the Convenient Food Mart at 501 W. 87th St. in Naperville and the Clark Gas Station at 931 E. Roosevelt Rd. in Lombard, according to the Illinois Lottery.

The next Powerball drawing will be held on Wednesday and the grand prize for that game is $96 million.
