Forte: Hating Packers Is For The Fans

Chicago Bears fans learn very early in life that the most hated enemy is the Green Bay Packers. There's a long and competitive rivalry to back up this hatred.

In the era of free agency, where players play for multiple teams and know each other through agents and charitable foundations, the hatred felt by fans doesn't make its way onto the field.

"I think that's more for the fans to do that," Bears running back Matt Forte said. "I don't really hate anybody, but I just focus on whoever we're playing at the time and focus more about our team as a team and going out there and just playing good football."

On Field Conditions:
As soon as the weather starts to turn worsen in Chicago, so does the field conditions at Soldier Field. While the conditions are bad, and everyone knows it, it doesn't seem like they'll be fixed any time soon.

"I think we can't focus on the field conditions," Forte said. "We know what it's going to be, we know what it is. So we have to go out there and play like it's a regular field, like's it's good out there. We practice outside to prepare ourselves to be on that type of condition."
