Teenage Girl Molested By Men On South Side

CHICAGO (STMW) - Two men jumped out of a car and sexually abused a teenage girl walking in the Far South Side Roseland neighborhood earlier this month, according to a community alert from police.

At about 3:45 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 3, the 16-year-old girl was walking in the area of 109th Street between Wentworth and Perry avenues when a vehicle occupied by four unknown individuals approached.

The car stopped and one of the men called out to the victim, according to an alert from Calumet Area detectives. Two of the offenders exited the vehicle and grabbed the victim.

The men touched the victim's body and attempted to remove an article of her clothing, but she continued to struggle and was eventually released. The men then drove away west on 109th.

The four offenders were described as black men 19-30 with medium and dark complexions, wearing black hoodies and jeans. They were riding in a four-door, black Chevy Impala.

Anyone with information should call detectives at (312) 747-8271.
