Bulls Send James Johnson To D-League

UPDATE: The Chicago Bulls announced on Thursday that they’ve sent forward James Johnson to the Developmental League.

According to a report, the Chicago Bulls will send James Johnson to the Developmental League.

Johnson, the 16th overall selection in last year’s NBA Draft, is expected to be assigned to the Iowa Energy, according to a report by AOL Fanhouse.

Through the first 71 games of his NBA career, Johnson has averaged 3.9 points and 2.0 rebounds in just over 11 minutes per game. He’s struggled through the early part of his career and has been rumored to be a part of several potential trades.

The Bulls with play the Orlando Magic at the United Center of Friday.

    JJ needs mor eplaying time.. He is a good scorer who at times make bad decisions with the ball.. If he goes elsewhere the Bulls will wish they had him back..

      no they won’t .. This guy sucks .. I hate to to use such strong words but his mental approach is lazy very lazy … He has not taken the time to raise his NBA IQ one bit . True his talent but James can’t think his way of out a paper bag. He was barely getting by with Coach Del Negro and this wont work with Thibs.

    Doesn’t this make the bulls a man short. I think the Bulls are about to make a trade. JJ is going to play in the D-league and this helps other teams see his potential and now that the story came out that OJ Mayo has been suspended it could give a good chance to pick him up really cheap. JJ and 2nd round pick maybe.
