Billy Dec's Big Party

An exciting night is coming up to celebrate the two-year anniversary of Billy Dec's "A Chicago Thing" arts, culture, trends and entertainment blog, and all the proceeds go to a good cause.

Billy Dec (and his avatar) joined us this morning to talk about the event, which is coming up this coming up this coming Thursday, Feb. 3, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Dec's Rockit Bar & Grill, 22 W. Hubbard St.

All the proceeds will go toward the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Advance tickets are available online at Billy's blog, achicagothing.com, for $20, and you can get in at the door for $40. For $100 in advance or $200 at the door, you can get a "VIP supporter" ticket, with access to a reserved area and a T-shirt from achicagothing.com.
