LYONS, Ill. (CBS/AP) – A 58-year-old man died Wednesday after collapsing while shoveling snow in front of his home in west suburban Lyons.

Police were called to the man’s home around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday when he collapsed. Because the road was impassable at the time, he was taken to an ambulance by a police armored vehicle.
