Mega Millions Rolls Over, $250K Ticket Sold In Chicago Suburb

CHICAGO (STMW) – No one matched all six numbers in Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing, but one player in Illinois, who bought the ticket in west suburban Northlake, came pretty close, missing the $12 million jackpot by one number.

That player, who bought a Quick Pick ticket at the Northlake Citgo, 5 W. North Ave. in Northlake, matched the first five numbers and will receive $250,000, according to the Illinois Lottery.

The winning numbers in Friday night’s drawing were: 06 – 20 – 29 – 48 and 55, and the Mega Ball number was 06.

Three players in Illinois matched four of the first five numbers and the Mega Ball, and they will each collect $10,000.

The next Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for Tuesday and the jackpot is $19 million.

Wow……….what a slow news day without the “Snow-of-the-decade” stories. Come on! No one cares until it’s over 100 million anyhow! Very light for fluff!

This is such a farce. All of the winners are in suburbs or small towns no one has heard of. Just showyou pick your relatives and get your share after checks are cshed. There are 50 times more stqations in the inner city and no winnders are found in inner city. Just ask the patrons to mail the money in to the lottery office asnd get a thank you.
