Bulls Could Target Clippers' Butler

The Chicago Bulls elected not to make any deals at the NBA's trade deadline, but that doesn't mean they still aren't in the market for additional help.

K.C. Johnson, of the Chicago Tribune, joined 670 The Score's Mully and Hanley Show to talk about the potential waiver targets for the Bulls.

"I think it's going to be [Rasual] Butler," Johnson said. "He was a guy they actually had some minor trade talks with the Clippers about, before the deadline. Now they were trying to do bigger things, but that was a phone conversation that they had about him. He's someone that they've targeted. He has nice size, he's a legit 6'7'', a better then average three-point shooter, veteran guy. But again, this is a guy that's going to play eight to 12 minutes, if at all. But I think that fact that he has length and can hit the three-pointer, I think ultimately the Bulls will try to out bid some of the other teams that are chasing to get him."
