Bulls Officially Sign Rasual Butler

The Chicago Bulls have signed free agent forward Rasual Butler, the team announced today.

The Bulls were rumored to be connected with Butler for some time now and it was reported that he took as physical this morning.

Butler averaged 5.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 41 games with the Clippers this season. He's shooting 32.6% from three-point range and has averaged 18.1 minutes per game, including two starts.

Butler was the 53rd overall pick in the 2002 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat and has averaged 8.6 PPG, 2.6 RPG and 0.9 APG in 24.1 minutes per game over his 249 career games.

He's made three trips to the playoffs which include 27 games and three starts. With the Bulls roster now at 13, the team will have to deem a player inactive before Friday's game agaisnt the Orlando Magic.
