McKinley Park Girl Reported Missing

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 15-year-old girl from the McKinley Park neighborhood has been reported missing and Chicago police were asking for help locating her.

Marlen Pineda, of the 3500 block of South Winchester Avenue, was last seen at home on Friday, police said. She is a 5-foot-8, 160-pound Hispanic girl with black hair, brown eyes and a light complexion.

She was wearing a black and red jacket and took all of her clothes and personal items from her home when she left. Police said she also wears black framed glasses and has a lip piercing on the left side of her lower lip.

Pineda, whose nickname is "Lady Teardrop," is known to frequent the area around McKinley Park, located at 2210 W. Pershing Rd., and Kelly Park, located at 2725 W. 41st St.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call the Wentworth Area Special Victims Unit at 312-747-8385.
