Missing Retired Cop Found Safe

CHICAGO (CBS) — A retired Chicago police sergeant who was reported missing on Friday has been found safe.

Eldge Walton, 74, was reported missing on Friday after leaving his home in the 9200 block of South Blackstone, police said.

The retired Chicago police sergeant suffers from severe dementia and cancer.

On Saturday, police announced Walton had been found safe and was reunited with his family.
