Rep. Quigley To Join Blackhawks At White House
WASHINGTON (CBS) -- When the Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawks visit the White House Friday, they will be joined by U.S. Rep. and hockey aficionado Mike Quigley (D-Ill.)
As WBBM Newsradio 780 Political Editor Craig Dellimore reports, often when Quigley is not cheering on the Blackhawks or doing his job as a Congressman, he is out on the ice.

He is also a member of the Congressional Hockey Caucus – a group of lawmakers dedicated to ensuring that the sport of hockey can be enjoyed by everyone, rich or poor.
"Kids growing up in the wealthiest areas and the poorest areas of our country shouldn't be limited to the sport that's just there that they can afford," Quigley said. "It's a real shame."
Quigley says the Blackhawks are helping with the caucus' mission in Chicago. He says they recently helped bring street hockey to 300 children in the Boys & Girls Club.
