4 Injured After Minivan Flips Over On Edens

SKOKIE, Ill. (STMW) – Four people — three adults and one child — were injured when a minivan flipped over on the Edens Expressway in Skokie Sunday afternoon.

The wreck occurred about 2:30 p.m. on the northbound Edens at Dempster Street, according to an Illinois State Police District Chicago trooper.

The trooper said a green minivan rolled, and troopers temporarily closed the ramp to the northbound expressway.

Three adults injured in the crash were taken to Rush North Shore Medical Center in Skokie and the child was taken to Evanston Hospital, a trooper said. Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, the trooper said.

The accident scene has since been cleared and traffic was back to normal by about 4 p.m.
