my heart goes out to this young man and his family , Its sad because as a mom my biggest fear is getting that call, what people don’t understand is that when this happens it destoys a family, neighbors , and the community in general , Whether a gangbagger or not its another person killed, And the killers are probaly blunted up and eating gyros while this young mans family are mourning his death ,The sad thing about it is that to some people it has become somewhat’ accepted’ Until it happens to one of their family members or friends. sad, truly sad

The black population has suffered under liberal ideology although he doesn’t realize it. The black man/woman has been reenslaved by those who give them false hope.
All men are equal and the same. Ideology that teaches dependence cripples and this is the result. Think about it. If the boy learned to stand on his own two feet and knew right from wrong this would not have happened.

What’s a 17 year old doing out past curfew anyways? My sympthathies go out to his family, my they find comfort in the Lord! But when are parents going to start acting like parents and NOT ALLOWING THEIR KIDS TO RUN THE STREETS AT ALL HOURS! Being from Humboldt Park, I’m no stranger to gunfire, be it at midnight or at NOON…kids today are TOO CAUGHT UP with the “THUG/GANGSTER LIFESTYLE”, they believe life is a “rap” video, except they need to realize that in this game, YOU ONLY HAVE ONE LIFE TO PLAY WITH!! With technology being what it is today, parents definitely have their hands full raising a child/teenager in the 2000′s. A community effort needs to be put into place to educate our youths about the perils of joining a gang. How what is fun today is actually a lifetime commitment to your new gang family and getting out is going to be VERY DIFFICULT/PAINFUL, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!
The attitude of most of today’s teenagers and twenty something year olds is one of invincibility. We all know too well how these kids end up…DEAD OR SERVING A DOUBLE DIGIT PRISON SENTENCE. It’s time for parents to lay down the law and watch their children for any sign of gang affiliation, remember, they don’t care if you are an actual member, if you are standing on the wrong corner in the wrong neighborhood wearing the wrong colors, you can possibly become a victim to gang violence. Also since Captain America a/k/a Jody the Joke Weiss is GONE…as well as good ole’ Richie Daley, maybe now is the time to put into effect some strict laws regarding gang violence and attacks on innocnet bystanders unfortuneately caught in the wrong place. It’s time to take the gloves off against these street drug dealers destroying neighborhoods all across CHICAGO…IT’S NOT A COLOR OR RACIAL PROBLEM…IT’S THE WHOLE CITY’S PROBLEM…NOW LET’S DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT BEFORE THE SUMMER!!!
