Focused Bulls Take Lead From Their Coach

The Chicago Bulls claimed the top spot in the Eastern Conference, but the team still acts like they're battle to solidify a playoff spot.

The Bulls' mindset of preparing for and focusing on one game at a time comes directly from their head coach, Tom Thibodeau has gotten the team to completely buy into his system.

"You can't knock this team off its message, no matter what you ask them," K.C. Johnson, of the Chicago Tribune, said on the Danny Mac Show. "It's almost become comical when you ask Tom about the race for the number-one seed. At this point [the media is] doing it for humor. Post-game we asked him about it, last night, because they finally got the number-one seed. And you know what he's going to say, he's not going to answer it. But he's going to talk about the performance in the second quarter. From my perspective it's humorous, because I've rarely covered a team this good and also this locked in."
