Report: Krause Leaving White Sox

After less than one year, former Chicago Bulls’ general manager Jerry Krause will be leaving the White Sox and his position of director of international scouting.

According to Mark Gonzales, of the Chicago Tribune, Krause will leave to take a position with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Krause has spent 21 years scouting baseball players, and will serve as a special assistant to the Diamondbacks’ executive vice president of scouting and player development, Jerry DiPoto.

The official announcement could come as soon as Friday, Gonzales reports.

Here I thought he was leaving to become a Personal Trainer.

I think he should give back his Bulls championship rings, if he is ditching the Windy City.

It truly is time for JK to cut ties once and for all with the Chicago sports teams. He has his day in the sun and now it’s over. Had he been even remotely likeable I am sure none of us would be so hasty to see him off so quickly. But he is who he is — a slob and in my opinion a vastly overrated scout who got lucky on a couple of NBA gambles that paid big dividends. Thanks “crumbs” for your service. Now go enjoy Arizona.
