CHICAGO (CBS) — The 2012  presidential ticket is set, at least for the Democrats. As expected, President Barack Obama said he’s ready to run again.

Obama on Monday confirmed what we’ve all suspected the moment he took office in 2009 — that he will indeed pursue another term. An online video and email sent to supporters made it official, albeit in a low-key way.

Familiar faces from the Obama administration will play important roles in the Chicago-based campaign. They include political strategist David Axelrod, former spokesman Robert Gibbs, Jim Messina, Julianna Smoot and David Plouffe.

All of them, and former chief of staff and Chicago mayor-elect Rahm Emanuel, say they’re ready to help.

“I will do whatever … to help the president get re-elected,” Emanuel said Monday.

We want a president who makes bold decisions indifferent to political opposition. We need somebody bold enough to tax the super rich who caused this blockage in the artery of american heart. They are not spending or investing and have all kinds of loopholes and political suport to avoid and evade taxes at the cost of the average citizens. The money is not flowing and is concentrated causing this heart disease for our monopolistic capitalistic system whih is worse than communism which we hate.

Looks like President Obama will be in Chicago next week at Navy Pier to kickoff his re-election fundraiser called “Join the President in Chicago.” http://bit.ly/gNCgkW
