Man Stabbed In West Woodlawn Restaurant
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was sent to the hospital Friday morning, after being stabbed in the leg during an argument at a West Woodlawn neighborhood restaurant.
About 2:30 a.m. the 30-year-old man was inside the restaurant at 6359 S. King Dr. when he began arguing with another man, according to a Grand Crossing District police captain.
The man he argued with took out a knife and stabbed the victim in the leg before fleeing, according to the captain.
The injured man was taken to Stroger Hospital of Cook County in an unidentified condition.
The suspect was not in custody Friday morning and a motive was not clear, according to the captain.
