Police: Dolphins' Marshall Stabbed By Wife

MIAMI (AP) Brandon Marshall's wife is accused of stabbing the Miami Dolphins wide receiver and has been arrested on a domestic violence charge, according to a police report.

The report, which was posted on The South Florida Sun Sentinel's website, says Michi Nogami-Marshall stabbed her husband with a kitchen knife Friday. The report says she told officers she was defending herself.

Nogami-Marshall remained jailed Saturday on $7,500 bond. It was unclear if she had an attorney.

A statement from Brandon Marshall's agent, Kennard McGuire, said Marshall will make a full recovery.

A Dolphins spokesman says the team is unable to contact the wide receiver because of the NFL lockout.

Marshall's longtime friend, free agent Mike Sims-Walker, tweeted Saturday that "Brandon will be ok and is in good spirits."
