CHICAGO (WSCR) Derrick Rose didn’t participate in the Bulls’ shootaround practice this morning and is officially being listed as questionable. However, Rose assured reporters that he will play tonight and is feeling better.
“Yesterday it was a little stiff,” Rose said. “But today I have more motion in it and I know the excitement of the game is going to make everything all right.”
Rose said there really isn’t any discomfort, “I know when I’m out there I wont think about it and only about the game.”
And as for that pre-game pain killing shot, “I really don’t need it right now,” Rose said. “I really don’t like shots so we’ll have to see.”
Coach Tom Thibodeau says he doesn’t anticipate many changes on his team’s part, but is hoping for a much quicker start so as to put pressure on the Pacers.
