Tornado Watch Issued For Parts Of Chicago Area

CHICAGO (CBS) — The National Weather Service as issued a tornado watch for parts of the Chicago area.

A tornado watch is in effect for Northwest Indiana, including Lake, Porter, LaPorte and Newton counties, until 9 p.m. tonight.

A watch is also in effect for Iroquois County south of Kankakee until 9 p.m.

A tornado watch means that weather conditions make a tornado possible.
