Floors Of Loop Building Evacuated For Suspicious Package
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Three floors of a Loop building have been evacuated — and traffic is being diverted — as police investigate a "suspicious" package Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called to 131 S. Dearborn St. at 3:45 p.m. on a report of "some sort of suspicious package," police said.
Traffic in the area has been diverted and floors 2, 3, and 4 of the building have been evacuated, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.
Police remained at the scene as of 5 p.m.
