Missing Mother, Three Daughters Sought By Police

CRESTWOOD, Ill. (WBBM) -- Police seek a Crestwood family last seen Sunday.

The Illinois Clearinghouse for Missing Persons and the Crestwood Police Department have released photos of 42-year-old Stephanie Owens and her three daughters: 11-year-old Madison, and nine-year-old twins Nicole and Kristin. 

Stephanie Owens, a hospital worker in Oak Lawn, is described by authorities as distraught. Police said the Owenses were believed to be traveling in a silver 1996 Lexus four-door sedan, with the Illinois license plate L32 1854. 

Police do not know where they were headed. Stephanie Owens' credit card was used earlier in the week downstate.

Although the flyer indicates that there is "cause for concern about the well-being of this family." 

Stephanie Owens is 5'4", weighs 230 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.  Madison Owens is also 5'4" tall, weighs 150 and has brown hair and brown eyes.  Nicole and Kristin Owens are both 4 feet tall and weigh 90 pounds. They have blonde hair and blue eyes. 

Anyone who has seen missing members of the Owens family since Easter, or have heard from them, are asked to call police or the clearinghouse.
