CHICAGO (WSCR) As the Chicago Bears evaluate their roster heading into the NFL Draft weekend, they need to address one specific position where they’re falling behind the rest of the NFC North division.
“I think there is need for interior power for the Bears’ defensive line,” former Bear and current analyst Tom Thayer said on the Danny Mac Show. “When you look at Ndamukong Suh and B.J. Raji and Kevin Williams, you look at the defensive tackles within the division, it’s one of the most dominating positions in all of football…except for the Bears.

“The Bears [need to] come out there and get a power that can disrupt the flow of offenses in the middle and take Aaron Rodgers out of his comfort zone, or make a young quarterback in Minnesota go through some painful stages and keep, you know, Matthew Stafford as pounded as much as you can in Detroit. The way to win this division is you have to make sure that you can beat the best team in the league, and right now it’s Green Bay.”
