What the heck do we have to do these days to be safe? I Think the first thing they should do is make a new law that any under age kid caught with a gun, should be arrested & do a minimum 1 year sentence in military style boot camp! Their Parents Should Be Arrested Too, & a Minimum sentence of a year in prison!
I bet you’d see these parents be more responsible then! I’m sick of seeing people have children & throw them on the mercy of the world! If you don’t want to follow through as a parent, then don’t have children!

Another reason we need this concealed carry bill to pass here in Illinois, it wont take long for the “gangstas” to learn to think twice about shooting up a neighborhood not knowing if grandma on the porch next door is packing heat. contact your local rep. and tell them you want the peace of mind this bill will bring.

Jake, we don’t need is more guns on the streets or in our homes. What we need to do is speak up when we see these crimes being committed, and stop making like we don’t see them – this is how we can make a difference. Also, for those who feel they’ve lost control of their homes/streets – breath and start bringing your community back together by working together! Stop saying how someone else isn’t doing this or that and start a community group with your neighbors. Stop relying on your so-called leaders because they cannot do it by themselves nor will they work as hard without monies. Review how things were done when Martin Luther King and others brought groups/people together – there is a way of doing this without guns!
